Press Release 2025
The Asheville Truffle Experience will rock your tastebuds from Friday through Sunday, February 7th through 9th, 2025, with multiple mouth-watering sessions in beautiful downtown Asheville and environs. Guests will plunge into the mystery of this ultra-prized ingredient, of which multiple species exist—traditionally hailing from the deep, dark woods of France, Italy and Spain, but also cultivated across the States, particularly in the northwest and southeast.
The event will kick off on Friday the 7th, with a welcome session featuring mouth-watering truffled appetizers and celebratory beverages, and a chance to mingle and share stories with other truffle aficionados.
Saturday morning the 8th will begin with an educational session, for those who wish to learn more about all aspects of truffles, from the planting to the varieties to the harvesting and marketing, in company of multiple experts in the field.
Saturday afternoon will feature a tour of a truffle orchard, and a chance to see a truffle dog in action while observing the various stages of a truffle orchard nearing productivity.
On Saturday evening, guests will be delighted with a selection of provocative dishes during an especially decadent wine-paired Truffle Extravaganza.
Sunday will feature a hands-on session in cooking with truffles, exploring the best ingredients and techniques for capturing the truffle's unique aromas and bringing them to the palate.
This will be followed by a truffled luncheon.
Pricing is available for the entire weekend or à la carte.
Visit www.ashevilletruffle.com for further details, or contact Susi Gott Séguret at 828-301-2792.
Note: Haywood Park Hotel offers a 10% discount to ATE attendees, as long as rooms are available. Call the front desk ((828-252-2522) and ask for the truffle discount.
